Shay Mitchell Pregnant Again: Actress Debuts 2nd Baby Bump With Boyfriend Matte Babel

Actress Shay Mitchell surprised fans on Monday by announcing she was pregnant with her second child with boyfriend Matte Babel.

Mitchell took to Instagram to post several photos of her bare baby bump along with a lengthy caption about the upcoming arrival of her little one, as well as her heartbreak over her grandmother’s recent death.

“Saying goodbye to a loved one while simultaneously experiencing the joy of welcoming another into this world is the great cycle of life. It is also my most challenging season to date,” Mitchell posted.

“I can’t help but think this was the universe’s plan all along, knowing I would need other worldly joy to cushion the blow of losing one of the most important people in my life. Yet, this is proof that love, life, and loss can profoundly exist all at the same time.”

The 34-year-old is still mourning her grandmother’s passing and revealed she has managed to find some happiness thanks to her pregnancy.

“Gram, I miss you every day. Little one, we are so excited to meet you. I breathe a sigh of peace knowing you two are already connected in such a cosmic way,” Mitchell posted.

Mitchell’s grandmother, who made several appearances across the actress’ Instagram account, died in January. At the time, the “Pretty Little Liars” alum shared the news with fans in an emotional tribute.

Mitchell, 34, and Babel, 41, are parents to a 2-year-old daughter. Even though the Beis Travel founder has shared a few photos of her pregnancy on social media, she did not drop any hints about the baby’s due date or gender.
