'Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie' Episode 7 Live Stream Details, Spoilers

After a one-week hiatus, Shikimori returns to protect her boyfriend from bad luck and misery in "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie" Episode 7.

The official website has released the synopsis of Episode 7. Izumi and his friends are busy preparing for the upcoming school festival. Shikimori is in the interior decoration department while Izumi is taking care of the costumes.

Can they work together as a team and make the school festival a successful event?

Last week, the showrunners aired a special episode that looked back at the start of the series with commentary by Ohnishi Saori, Umeda Shuuichirou, and Hidaka Rina.

The official Twitter account announced on May 13 that the showrunner decided to release a new schedule after several employees of Doga Kobo production studio tested positive for COVID-19.

The updated schedule suggested that "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie" Episodes 7 and 9 were delayed. Episode 7 was earlier slated to air on May 21.

“Izumi-kun and Shikimori-san make plans to see a fireworks show together. As Izumi-kun is readying his yukata, his dad starts to tell him something with a serious expression. Then, on the day of the fireworks show, Izumi-kun sees Shikimori-san looking adorable in her yukata and tries his hardest to impress her... but his heroics are no match for Shikimori-san's,” read the synopsis of Episode 6, as per Crunchyroll.

“After they enjoy the festivities for a bit, Izumi-kun starts to lead Shikimori-san somewhere else... but then Shikimori-san's sandal strap breaks!” it continued.

"Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie" anime is based on the original work by Keigo Maki.

The cast of the anime includes Saori Onishi as Shikimori, Shuichiro Umeda as Izumi, Rina Hidaka as Hachimitsu, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Inuzuka, Misato Matsuoka as Nekozaki, Ayaka Fukuhara as Kamiya, Naomi Kusumi as Akisada Izumi and Emi Shinohara as Motoko Izumi.

The opening theme song of the anime is titled "Honey Jet Coaster," and it is performed by nasuo ☆ . The closing theme song, "Route BLUE," is by Yuki Nakashima.

"Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie" Episode 7 is airing this Saturday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. The episode will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
