The monarch has a good relationship with the Duchess of Sussex. According to historian David Starkey, there’s one sign that shows the Queen’s fondness to her great-granddaughter in law.

“The Queen likes Meghan,” Starkey told Daily Mail’s Richard Eden at a book launch party in SoHo. “The Queen immediately made her and Harry ambassadors for the Commonwealth, which is the only thing the Queen really cares about.”

However, according to him, Markle’s background as a TV actress is a mark against her in the eyes of a royal family. Markle has brought too much Hollywood entitlement with her.

According to a past report, Prince Philip discouraged Prince Harry from marrying Markle. The Duke of Edinburgh reportedly warned Prince William’s younger brother when he was still wooing the former “Suits” star.

“One steps out with actresses, one doesn’t marry them,” Prince Philip told Prince Harry.

According to Starkey, Markle is similar to Princess Diana as both behaved like a celebrity. Their hypocrisy is the same as any other members of the Hollywood elite who proclaim their eco-sensitivity while flying private jets.

Speaking to The Times, royal biographer Penny Junor said that Prince Harry and Markle have disappointed their followers. The couple “on paper are fantastic” but “thing have one really wrong for them” this year.

The biographer insisted that people used to love the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. However, at present, the “people are just disappointed.”

Prince Harry and Markle have been criticized for their lavish lifestyle. The public was furious after learning that they used the taxpayers’ money to fund the multi-million renovation of Frogmore Cottage, their home, in Windsor. The people are all the more angry because they are trying to live like private individuals by withholding the details of their son.

Prince Harry and Markle kept the duchess’ birthing plans a secret. They only announced Archie’s birth hours after his actual birth. They also made his baptism private. Unlike Prince William and Kate Middleton, the couple didn’t announce their child’s godparents.

Prince Harry and Markle have been campaigning for the environment and even call the people to do their bits of good for the nature.
