  • "The Simpsons" producers want Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the show
  • Greta Thunberg may also appear on "The Simpsons" as herself

“The Simpsons” producers reportedly want Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to voice their cartoon characters.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are welcome to join the long-running show “The Simpsons” for a cameo because the producers want the royal couple to give life to some of their cartoon characters. In fact, the bosses have already discussed the prospect but have not reached out to the Sussexes yet.

“We’ve talked about Harry and Meghan. I hear she wants to do voiceover work. So if they’re reading this, give us a call!” producer Al Jean said.

Aside from the royal couple, actress Yeardley Smith, who voices Lisa, revealed that the show also wants to get teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg. She added that the show wants Greta to make an appearance on the show as herself.

“It’d be great if Greta plays herself,” Smith said. “She’d be passing through Springfield and find that she has so much in common with Lisa.”

Meanwhile, Markle has already teamed up with Disney for a post-royal project. Walt Disney Studios just made the announcement on Twitter. The collaboration between the Disney and Markle will benefit the charity Elephants Without Borders.

“Two new movies, two unforgettable journeys. Start streaming Disneynature’s Elephant, narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, and Disneynature’s Dolphin Reef, narrated by Natalie Portman, on April 3, only on #DisneyPlus,” Walt Disney Studios wrote.

In related news, Prince Harry became a victim of Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who pretended to be Thunberg and her dad. In their recorded conversations, Markle’s husband made shocking confessions.

According to the Duke of Sussex, their decision to leave the royal family was not easy, but it was the right thing to do since he wanted to protect his son, Archie. Prince Harry also admitted that living a normal life was much better than being a royal.

Meanwhile, Thunberg recently announced on Instagram that she suspected that she had contracted coronavirus. According to the teenager, she experienced the symptoms, but she was not tested.

“I have therefore not been tested for COVID-19, but it’s extremely likely that I’ve had it, given the combined symptoms and circumstances. Now I’ve basically recovered, but - AND THIS IS THE BOTTOM LINE: I almost didn’t feel ill,” Thunberg wrote.
