Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery produced a big jackpot winner who took home $56 million on a single ticket that was sold in Illinois. The big win came in addition to two players who became instant millionaires overnight.

The winning numbers pulled on Tuesday, June 8, were 9, 22, 29, 41, 54, with the 3X Megaplier being 19. Watch the winning Mega Million lottery numbers being drawn below.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot was worth $56 million with a cash option of $38.7 million. The jackpot winner matched all six numbers drawn, plus the gold Mega Ball.

Two additional tickets sold in Iowa and West Virginia matched five numbers, winning $1 million each. A total of 17 tickets took home $10,000 for matching four numbers and the Mega Ball, and seven players won $30,000 each for also having the 3X Megaplier.

Over 400,000 players won a prize in the Mega Millions lottery on Tuesday, ranging from $2 up to the jackpot, according to the lottery.

The $56 million winning ticket comes just three weeks after a player in Pennsylvania took home a whopping $516 million jackpot on May 21. Earlier this year, a $1 billion prize was collected by a group of players in Michigan on Jan. 22, and New York couple won $96 million on Feb. 16.

The next drawing for the Mega Millions lottery is on Friday, June 11 at 11 p.m. ET. The jackpot is estimated at $20 million with a cash option of $13.8 million.
