Singtel Gets Palm Treo 680
Palm Inc.'s (NASDAQ: PALM) Treo branded smartphone will be available on SingTel Ltd wireless services, the companies announced on Thursday, bringing the smartphone to Singapore for the first time.
The Treo 680 features software tailored for business users, including the ability to receive email and manage schedules. Combined with SingTel's data backbone, users who purchase the phone will be able to receive and send Outlook email, calendar information and contacts.
