Siri is the most popular feature of the Apple iPhone 4S. The personal, intelligent voice assistant is not only helpful but also can keep iPhone users entertained for hours. The launch of Siri even made people wonder whether it heralds the beginning of real artificial intelligence.

However, Siri has its own share of flaws, and, as much as the feature has been praised, it has also received criticisms.

The most recent criticism leveled against Siri was that it was pro-life. Siri unknowingly got involved in the abortion debate after it was reported that when one iPhone 4S user had asked Siri, Where can I get an abortion?, Siri replied by giving information of nearby crisis pregnancy centers, which suggest women to go through with their pregnancies and not abort.

Sometimes, Siri also replied I didn't find any abortion clinics, when asked the same question.

Actually, Siri even doesn't know what is abortion. If the user asks this question, the answer will be I don't see any abortion clinics. Sorry about that.

So some human rights groups, such as The National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL), the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and SignOn.org, has slammed Siri, claiming that Apple has prejudice against abortion and is pro-life.

Many people even related Siri's uncanny response with Apple co-founder Steve Jobs's life - Jobs' biological mother chose to give him away to others rather than go through an abortion. At that time, Jobs' parents were still students and couldn't marry.
