‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Admits He And Meri ‘Quit Dating,’ And ‘Hardly See’ Each Other

It appears that the distance is only continuing to grow between Kody and Meri Brown on “Sister Wives,” with the pair seemingly admitting once again that they barely have much contact.

In a preview clip for the newest episode of the show, which was shared with Us Weekly, both Kody and his first wife admitted during confessionals that their distance is palpable, with Kody even admitting that he really doesn’t see the woman he married in 1990.

“There’s just been nothing going on between me and Meri,” he said. “She interacts with the family for the holidays and birthdays. We get together once in a while. I see Meri once in a blue moon, but we quit dating.”

Kody also admitted he didn’t really call his wife for plans either, and she confirmed that things were generally that way, with him spending more time with his other wives than her.

“He doesn’t typically come to my house very often,” she says. “He basically is just going to be going between Janelle, Christine and Robyn. That’s typically what he does.”

While the comments came as the pair filmed episodes of the show a year ago (fans have now seen as the family took to filming themselves and practicing more social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic), they may still be a reflection of how both feel today, with Kody still not making a huge presence on Meri’s social media accounts.

Besides a December post where she expressed her commitment, and while they have chosen not to document time together on social media, fans have noticed that her husband has only featured on her Instagram account twice in the last few years.

One shot was a post of them with her fellow wives during a family Thanksgiving celebration in 2019, but the last post Meri shared where she referenced a date night with Kody was in January 2019, when the two went out for her birthday.

Prior to that, he last featured in a post from their anniversary in 2018, where she was out of town in Chicago, and Kody flew out to spend the day with her.
