'Sister Wives' Meri Brown Denies Marriage Trouble With Kody After Cryptic Tweet
Fans have constantly wondered about the state of their marriage ever since their legal divorce a few years back, but "Sister Wives" star Meri Brown has taken to social media once again to shut down rumors she and Kody are splitting up.
Shortly following the release of the "Sister Wives" Season 8 trailer, which saw Meri discussing a desire to open a bed and breakfast in Utah, and her announcement on Instagram that the bed and breakfast was officially open for business, one particular tweet she shared sent some fans into a frenzy, as they worried that she was indicating troubles in her now spiritual marriage to Kody.
On Saturday, Meri tweeted a meme about when people realize they aren't good enough for someone else, and immediately saw responses from fans who wondered if she meant she wasn't feeling like she was good enough for Kody or her fellow sister wives any longer.
One fan in particular alluded to the fact that unlike the other wives in the family—Janelle, Christine and Robyn—Meri is the only one who now lives alone, as the others still have young children in their homes.
"I could not imagine all the pain you have endured with being an empty nester, alone in a crowd of family & trying to find your place," the fan wrote. "Meri, you are a beautiful, strong, loving and wise woman. You deserve to be happy. Follow your heart. You know the answer."
However, following the concern from fans about what the meme meant, Meri took to the social media network once again to address what everyone was asking her. While she didn't address her marriage with Kody specifically in her tweet, she did indicate that she was still with the family in her message.
However, the concern from fans did seem logical following the news of the bed and breakfast opening, especially after the new season trailer dropped. In that teaser, not only did Meri see concerns about opening the business from Christine, but she and Kody also seemed to be at an impasse in their relationship, one which seemed to stem from her catfishing scandal a few years back.
In the clip, it also seemed as if though she and Kody were considering splitting up, and a conversation with her fellow sister wives saw Robyn encouraging her that "no matter what happened" between her and Kody, they would always be there for her.
The new season of "Sister Wives" premieres Sunday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. EST.
