Meri Brown is speaking out after her husband Kody Brown got candid about how much time they actually spend together on Sunday's episode of "Sister Wives."

During the episode, Kody shared that he only sees wife Meri "once in a blue moon" but regularly visits his three other wives, Christine, Janelle and Robyn. In a lengthy post on Instagram, Meri made it clear that she is capable of making her own decisions and thanked fans for their support.

"I know my value, anyone else's opinion doesn't really matter," she wrote alongside a photo of her smiling as she leans on a tree.

Meri said she's aware that she is in the public eye and that fans want the best for her. However, she let her fans and critics know that whatever their opinions about her are, she knows her worth.

"I get that people have their own opinions about me based on their own perspective and life values. I get that I have supporters. I get that I have haters," she continued. "You want to know what else I get? That I know my worth. That I know my value. That I know what's in my heart and my head. That I know what my convictions are."

Meri went on to say that she is a "strong and capable woman" who can make her own decisions, not based on money, religion or feelings. She also said she's not a quitter but someone who makes her "own choices and decisions."

The reality star expressed gratitude to those who reached out to her and shared kind and supportive messages. She added that she understands most people give advice based on their own values and experiences as well as their views of her. However, the "Sister Wives" star also hopes they would understand that she had a different approach in life.

"I hope you understand that each person has their own set of values and standards they live by," she continued. "You have yours, I have mine. Just because mine are not the SAME as yours does not mean I lack in self love, self worth, self esteem, or make me a fool. Yes these are labels many try to place on me on a daily basis, and I assure you, that is not the Meri Brown that you think you know."

Meri concluded her post by reminding everyone, "I know my value. I know my worth. That's what you should know."

"Sister Wives" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EDT on TLC.
