Christine Brown is back on the dating scene nearly a year after her split from her husband of 25 years, Kody Brown.
In a new interview, the 50-year-old "Sister Wives" star gave an update on her life since announcing her split from Kody in November 2021, revealing that she is "single" but has been going on dates.
"I'm single now, right? So I kind of just decide what I want to do and then do it. It's been just very, very simple," Christine told Entertainment Tonight. "Everything's just a lot easier as far as just planning and day-to-day life."
The reality star also shared that she's been dating "very, very casually" in the past few months.
Though she has moved on from her marriage to Kody, Christine said she isn't looking for a serious relationship at the moment and is still enjoying the single life.
"Not romantic, because that's way too fast, but dating for sure," she told ET. "I'm dating just for fun. Just keeping everything super light because that's just who I am right now."
Christine said she eventually wants to get married again and be in a monogamous relationship after being in a plural marriage for nearly three decades.
Christine was Kody's third wife, and they tied the knot during a "spiritual" wedding ceremony on March 25, 1994, Insider reported. The two have 6 children: Aspyn, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11.
Collectively between his four wives, Kody has 15 children.
Christine shocked fans last year when she released a statement via Instagram announcing that she parted ways with Kody.
"After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave," she wrote at the time. "We will continue to be a strong presence in each other's lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family."
Kody also released a statement in response to Christine's post.
"Christine's decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her. Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents," Kody wrote at the time.
When asked by ET what she is looking for in a future partner, aside from "kindness," Christine shared one important criterion that Kody failed to meet.
"Someone who's attracted to me would be a really great thing, I'm just saying," she teased.
In a previous episode of "Sister Wives," Christine made it clear she was not happy when Kody told her that "the intimate part of our marriage is over."
Christine stressed that she didn't want a partial marriage and wasn't "OK with staying in a marriage where there's no intimacy."
