They have very dramatic lives which have played out in front of the cameras for years, but “Sister Wives” fans who feel parts of the show don’t seem genuine shouldn’t assume it’s all fake, as patriarch Kody Brown has revealed that the family doesn’t follow any scripts.

During the show’s season finale on Sunday night, Kody took to Twitter to discuss the events of the episode, which saw the dramatic circumstances surrounding the birth of Madison’s daughter Evangalynn. However, as he talked about what was going on while live-tweeting, he also noticed a fan who expressed some relief over a change in the story, since the bulk of the season dealt with the hardships of the family’s move to Flagstaff, which saw them make several additional moves as they encountered problems with rentals.

“So thankful Maddie is sharing her pregnancy because we are all dead dog tired of the house buying/selling drama. Ugh,” the fan wrote.

The drama has unfolded throughout the season as Janelle, Meri and Robyn all were forced to move from their rental homes due to the properties being sold by the owners or other issues. Most of the drama seemed to unfold as Robyn was forced to leave her home and wanted to find a new rental, which was difficult because of the size she needed—and Kody insisted on them purchasing a home instead.

As Kody addressed the fan’s critique though, he went on to reveal that if things were boring for the fan, it was simply because the family’s lives were not that exciting at the moment, and the cameras were capturing the real events unfolding.

“We are not scripted...maybe I'm manipulated...hmmm? But I digress...,” he wrote. “We show the S/;# that is happening to us, even sometimes when it is boring.”

This isn’t the first time Kody has addressed concerns and critiques this season, as he also previously stated that TLC could be editing him to look worse than he is after another fan suggested he was being made out to be a villain.

“Sister Wives” has not yet been officially renewed for a new season on TLC.
