‘Sister Wives’ Star Maddie Brown And Her Fiancé Caleb Brush Share Engagement Photos On Twitter
“Sister Wives” star Maddie Brown is one step closer to walking down the aisle! Recently, the daughter of Kody and Janelle Brown and her soon-to-be husband Caleb Brush took to Twitter to share a few images from their engagement photo shoot. The released pictures gave fans of the hit TLC show, which stars Maddie and her plural family, a first-hand look at the two’s budding romance before the big day.
Maddie’s friends and family members were quick to comment on the adorable photos, stating their love for the duo as well as gushing over how wonderful the couple looked in the photos, which showed off Maddie’s dazzling ring and the twosome's love of nature.
The engagement photos were taken outside on what looked like a chilly day due to the bare trees and the blanket prop, which was draped over their heads in one image. But despite the low temperatures, Maddie and Caleb don’t look the least bit phased. According to Maddie, that’s because the two enjoy being outdoors, which is why their ceremony will take place outside.
“We are making plans for a wonderful outdoor wedding hopefully in the country,” Maddie told People magazine in September about her woodsy wedding plans after announcing the exciting news of her engagement.
After getting Kody’s permission to ask for Maddie’s hand in marriage (a sweet scene audiences watched during Season 6 finale of “Sister Wives”), Caleb popped the question of a lifetime.
"It was cold and we were huddled in jackets and I thought he was crazy to stop," Maddie recalled the proposal. "He said to come look over here. So I walked with him to the edge. He told me he could never express how much he loved me, but he wanted to spend his life trying, and went down in one knee and pulled out a box.”
According to the couple, they will not be following in their family’s footsteps of leading a polygamist lifestyle. "We are not living plural marriage,” Caleb confirmed to People magazine. “We support Maddie’s family with their choice of living plural marriage and they support us with our choice in just marrying each other.”
