‘Sister Wives’ Star Maddie Brown Is Married; Weds Caleb Brush In Bohemian-Themed Ceremony [PHOTO]
Maddie Brown is married! The “Sister Wives” star and fiancé Caleb Brush tied-the-knot in an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony in front of their family and friends over the weekend.
Maddie, who stars on the TLC show with her father Kody Brown and his four wives, got married Saturday in Bozeman, Montana. The 20-year-old reality star and her new husband decided to have a low-key bohemian wedding with handmade decorations. “I just wanted something unique, so we steered away from classic and Caleb liked the bohemian idea a lot,” Maddie explained to Us Weekly following her nuptials.
“I’m pretty excited,” she added. “It doesn’t feel real.” For the ceremony, Maddie wore a gorgeous strapless white gown, while Caleb opted out of wearing a suit. The 29-year-old looked comfortable in a white button-down shirt, grey vest and khakis. “I can cut a rug on a dance floor in khakis better than a monkey suit,” he told Us Weekly about his attire. For the couple’s big day, Maddie’s father Kody officiated the nuptials.
In September, shortly after announcing their engagement, Maddie and Caleb revealed to People magazine that they had no plans to have a plural marriage like Kody. Kody, the patriarch of the Brown family, is married to Robyn, Janelle (Maddie’s mom), Christine and Meri. “We support Maddie’s family with their choice of living plural marriage, and they support us with our choice in just marrying each other,” Brush told the outlet.
As previously reported, Maddie also revealed during the Season 7 premiere of “Sister Wives” that although she was eager to get married to Caleb, she wants to wait a little bit before they start a family. “We won’t have kids anytime soon,” she said. “Probably like three or four years down the road.”
“Sister Wives” airs at 8 p.m. EDT Sundays on TLC.
