‘Sister Wives’ Update On Robyn And Kody Brown One Year After Divorce Rumors

One year ago, rumors surfaced that “Sister Wives” star Kody Brown’s fourth and only legal wife, Robyn Brown, was looking to end their marriage. Several months later, another report was released claiming that Robyn was pregnant with her third child with Kody and was still seeking a divorce.

“She’s quietly consulting with attorneys,” Kendra Pollard, a former “best friend” of Robyn, told Life & Style in November 2016. Pollard added that the mother of five was waiting to feel more “financially secure” before splitting from the Brown family and moving out of state.

Pollard went on to claim that Kody and Robyn’s marriage crumbled after a comment he allegedly made following the birth of their daughter Ariella in January of that year. “He told her, ‘You used to be considered the hot wife. Unfortunately, we can’t really sell that anymore,’” Pollard stated.

In April, Pollard dished to the magazine yet again, this time claiming Robyn was pregnant with her and Kody’s third child and still seeking a split.

“Robyn has been planning to divorce him for a long time. Being pregnant has not changed her mind. She’s saved up enough money to retain a lawyer. This is really the end of ‘Sister Wives,’” Pollard said.

After her second tell-all interview, Robyn fired back against Pollard. “Kendra is NOT my friend and I don’t talk to her. Ever. Period,” Robyn tweeted at the time. The TLC star went on to call all of Pollard’s comments “lies” and confirmed she was not pregnant again nor was she looking to divorce Kody.

Meri Brown, Kody’s first wife, also stuck up for Robyn during the ordeal. “I had to laugh when I walked through the store today and saw it!” she tweeted. “People seriously need to get a life!”

Since blasting the reports this spring, the Brown family has been quiet about rumors regarding the speculated split. Of course, they also don’t have their usual platform. TLC has yet to renew “Sister Wives” for a Season 8. The show last aired new episodes in January.

Still, it appears all is fine in the Brown family. Late last month, Meri posted a shot of her and Robyn enjoying a day at Disneyland with several of their kids. Other photos from their outing also show Kody was at the theme park with them. “Just another fun day with the fam,” Meri captioned one of the shots.
