'Sk8 The Infinity' Episode 10 Is Not Airing This Week

Adam's attack on Cherry Blossom comes as a shocker. He reveals Cherry is too predictable to have a beef with. But fans will have to wait to know more as "Sk8 The Infinity" Episode 10 will not be airing this Saturday.

According to the official website, fans will be getting Episode 9.5 instead of the tenth installment this week and it will likely be a recap episode. The network and the showrunners are yet to announce the nature of this special episode.

In the previous episode, Langa is up against Joe as the former struggles to keep against Joe's incredible moves on the skateboard.

Langa is almost ready to give up in the middle of the race when Reki encourages him to fight back. As the race progresses, Langa gains an upper hand and ultimately wins the contest.

Next up is the race between Adam and Cherry. Initially, Adam remains calm about the race and Cherry uses AI technology to swiftly get past his opponent.

However, just before the finish line, Adam appears out of nowhere and lands a mighty blow across Cherry's face using the skateboard.

"Langa makes it past the qualifiers to race against Joe. Langa struggles against Joe's powerful skate style and is caught in a whirlwind of emotion from the pressure of the race. The long-awaited match between Adam and Cherry blossom finally begins. Cherry blossom knows something about Adam which changes Adam’s attitude. Their past relationship is revealed," the synopsis for Episode 9 read.

"Sk8 The Infinity" is based on the original work by Bones and Hiroko Utsumi. It is directed by Hiroki Utsumi and the series composition is by Ichiro Ohkouchi. Michinori Chiba and Hiroki Kanno are sharing the chief animation direction duties. Skateboards for the anime are designed by Studio No Border. The music is composed by Ryo Takahashi and sound direction by Masafumi Mima.

The cast of "Sk8 The Infinity" anime includes Chiaki Kobayashi as Langa, Tasuku Hatanaka as Reki, Kensho Ono as Tadashi Kikuchi, Hikaru Midorikawa as Cherry Blossom, Kenta Miyake as Shadow, Kenta Okuma as Manager Oka, Takehito Koyasu as Adam, Yasunori Matsumoto as Joe, Takuma Nagatsuka as Miya and Mie Sonozaki as Nanako Hasegawa.

"Sk8 The Infinity" episodes air Saturdays and stream on Funimation, AnimeLab (Australia and New Zealand) and Wakanim (Scandinavia).
