‘SMILF’ Season 1, Episode 7 Spoilers: Tutu Goes On A Spending Spree
Tutu spends her money extravagantly in the next episode of “SMILF.”
According to the synopsis for Season 1, episode 7 of the Showtime comedy, Tutu (Rosie O’Donnell) has a manic episode and goes on a spending spree.
In the trailer for the installment, Tutu appears to go to the bank and reveals that she wants to close out her savings account. She then heads to the mall and buys some fancy clothing and makeup.
While the cause of Tutu’s manic episode remains to be seen, her heartbreaking reunion with her former lover Edmond (Donald Li) last episode might have stressed her lot.
In Season 1, episode 6, Tutu found Edmond on Yelp. After learning that he’s now working as a dentist in North Boston, Tutu set an appointment to pay him a visit. While Edmond didn’t expect to see Tutu in his clinic, the dentist was clearly happy to be reunited with her. In fact, despite having families of their own, Tutu and Edmond — who got matching tattoos back in the day — made love with each other again. Their reunion, however, ended in a sad note when Tutu discovered that Edmond had his tattoo removed.
Elsewhere in the next episode, Bridgette (Frankie Shaw), Eliza (Raven Goodwin), and Larry (Anna Chanel Reimer and Alexandra Mary Reimer) spend a day together searching for Bridge’s towed car. Also, Bridgette tries to potty-train Larry.
In a sneak peek from the episode, Bridgette gets frustrated when attempts to convince Larry to use the toilet.
“Diaper-wearing time has officially run out,” Bridgette tells Larry inside the bathroom. “You are a big boy. You gotta learn how to use the toilet.”
After demonstrating and explaining to Larry that sometimes he’ll get to pee standing up, Bridgette attempts to make Larry use the toilet by offering him a deal: “I’ll sit on your toilet and you’ll sit on my toilet.”
When Larry still refuses to use the toilet, Bridgette gives up and says, “I’m a terrible mother. I don’t know how to use this.”
“SMILF” Season 1, episode 7, titled “Family-Sized Popcorn & A Can of Wine,” airs on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 10 p.m. EST on Showtime. Watch the trailer and the sneak peek from the episode below:
