Sneak Peek: Imogen Poots Fronts Marni for H&M Campaign (PHOTOS)
With names like designer Consuelo Castiglioni and Sofia Coppola behind the Marni for H&M collaboration, fashion connoisseurs are looking forward to the upcoming collection by the Italian brand.
The fashion label has added yet another feather to its crown by collaborating with actress Imogen Poots to front their upcoming campaign.
British actress, Imogen is best known for the 2007 film 28 Weeks Later. Her earlier fashion venture includes her collaboration with luxury brand Chloe to front its eponymous fragrance campaign.
The Fright Night actress was reportedly photographed by Sofia Coppola in Marrakech in metallic-printed blouse and trousers.
The first image of the campaign was released ahead of the launch of the collection on March 8, 2012. The creations will be available in around 260 stores worldwide and online.
I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements, said Consuelo Castiglioni, Founder and Creative Director.
Marni's collection will reportedly feature creations in bold prints and strong colours. For women, the colours are vivid and the prints are bold, whether they are African-inspired or simpler colour blocks.
However, for men, the colours and fabrics are softened for a relaxed take on menswear staples.
