Two famous females will be joining “Saturday Night Live” on Nov. 11. The new episode of “SNL” Season 43 will welcome a veteran musical guest and a first time host.

Funny gal Tiffany Haddish will host the NBC show this week. The star got her big break in the hilarious summer comedy “Girls Trip,” which made over $137 million worldwide. The stand up comic is currently on tour, but she’s also gearing up to release her first book after her “SNL” debut.

“The Last Black Unicorn” is a collection of personal essays detailing Haddish’s upbringing in the foster care system and the beginning of her comedic career. The book, which is being published by Simon and Schuster, is expected to hit shelves Dec. 5.

Is SNL new tonight?

Though Haddish is a “SNL” newbie, the musical guest is a repeat performer. Taylor Swift will perform two songs on the Nov. 11 episode. The 27-year-old first appeared as a musical guest in January 2009 before talking on double duty as host and singer in November 2009. The “Look What You Made Me Do” singer hasn’t been back since (though she has been impersonated several times over the years).

Swift is performing in support of her new album, “Reputation.” Her sixth studio album dropped Friday. Fans heard several singles before the album came out. “Look What You Made Me Do,” “…Ready For It,” “Gorgeous” and “Call It What You Want” were unveiled ahead of the Nov. 10 release date, but the secretive singer hasn’t revealed her “Saturday Night Live” set list yet.

With any luck neither of the women will cause as much controversy as Larry David did in last week’s episode. The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” host made jokes about flirting with women at concentration camps during the Holocaust, and many audience members were offended.

“Saturday Night Live” Season 43, episode 5 airs Saturday at 11:30 p.m. EDT.
