  • Snoop Dogg doesn't approve of Cardi B's song "WAP," suggesting it was too explicit
  • He says he'd like to see more "privacy and intimacy"
  • Cardi's husband, Offset, fired back saying men should stay out of women's business

Snoop Dogg is not a fan of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP," saying the song was too explicit for him.

During a recent interview with "Central Ave," the 49-year-old hip-hop artist was asked about his thoughts on Cardi and Megan's hit collaboration that sparked a massive trend. Snoop didn't hide his disapproval of "WAP," suggesting that it was too raunchy.

"Oh my God," he said. "Slow down. Okay now, let's have some imagination, let's have some you know, privacy, some intimacy."

Snoop apparently has a more conservative view when it comes to women talking about their privates.

"Let's have some, you know, privacy, some intimacy where he wants to find out as opposed to you telling him," he continued. "To me, it's like, it's too fashionable when that in secrecy, that should be a woman's...that's like your pride and possession. That's your jewel of the Nile. That's what you should hold onto. That should be a possession that no one gets to know about until they know about it."

The rap legend acknowledged that if he were younger, he probably would have been "with the movement" and "on the remix."

As an older man, he said he also appreciates they are expressing themselves, but he doesn't want young girls to "express themselves like that without even knowing that that is a jewel that they hold onto until the right person comes around."

Snoop revealed that he has had conversations about this topic with his daughter, Cori Broadus, 21. He also recognized the fact that she has grown up in a different era and he can't be mad at her because it's her generation.

But there's one person who doesn't agree with Snoop's views on "WAP": Cardi's husband, Offset.

When asked about his thoughts on Snoop's comments about his wife's song, the Migos rapper told TMZ that though he loves the legendary rapper and was a fan of him, he believes that "men should stay out of women business because that's women business."

Offset also stressed that the subject of the song is empowerment and that men should uplift their women instead of telling them what they can or can't do.
