Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly could leave Juventus if the Italian side failed to win the Champions League this season. That would also see, the Portuguese returning to Manchester United 11 years after leaving it.

While Ronaldo was forced out of Real Madrid ahead of the 2018-19 season, it looks like this time, a change of club will be Ronaldo's own decision.

It very clear that not everything is well between Ronaldo and Juventus' boss, Maurizio Sarri. After being substituted early for the second match in a row, Ronaldo stormed off down the tunnel and left the ground early, approximately three minutes before Juventus' match had ended.

While Sarri explained that he was forced to sub-off Ronaldo due to the latter's injury, the rumors of friction between the two became stronger during the international break. Ronaldo managed to play both the matches for Portugal where he also scored four goals.

Spanish television pundit Eduardo Inda was speaking on "Chiringuito De Jugones" where he claimed that Ronaldo chose to join Juventus to win the Champions League with a third different club, having already won with Manchester United and Real Madrid.

"Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Juventus at the end of the current season if they do not win the Champions League. He went to Turin to try and win the Champions League with a third different club but things are getting complicated. Juventus want to sign Pogba and Mbappe. I think it is going to be difficult for them, especially the second one. Due to the salary limits, if they want to sign these players they would have to allow for Ronaldo’s exit from the club so it is becoming a very likely outcome," Inda added.

Even during his final days in Spain, there were talks about Ronaldo's return to Man Utd but that did not happen. However, with the current scenario in Juventus, it will be the best time for the Portuguese skipper to return to his former club.

Ronaldo's return to the Threatre of Dreams would be a major boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s fragile side. When things begin to go wrong, the current Man Utd players have repeatedly failed to fight back in the match and that's where Ronaldo's experience would come in.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is also being linked to Inter Milan, PSG and also a move to the Chinese Super League.
