Soccer On TV Tonight: USA vs. Panama, Mexico vs. Trinidad And Tobago, Brazil vs. Paraguay Channels And Start Times

There is plenty of international soccer competition slated for Tuesday night, with several countries battling for a World Cup berth in Russia 2018. Earlier in the day, some notable countries competed in UEFA friendlies with road teams coming out on top. Spain defeated France, 2-0, while Italy held off the Netherlands, 2-1, and Sweden defeated Portugal, 3-2.

The attention turns to the Americas for the evening action. The United States is coming off a momentum-building 6-0 home victory against Honduras last week, but face stiff competition when they travel to Panama City to go up against third-place Panama.

Talking to a pool of reporters, head coach Bruce Arena praised teenage sensation Christian Pulisic, a product of the U.S. U17 residency program in Florida and a Pennsylvania native, who plays for Borussia Dortmund. Pulisic looked particularly sharp against Honduras with some solid runs and sharp passes.

"[Pulisic] was grown as a player here in the U.S.," said Arena. "Don't piss on our system, which everyone wants to do. 'It's not possible that we could have a good player that came out of here. There has to be a reason for it.' And the reason is obviously because he went to Germany.

"He was going to be a good player wherever he went. Maybe that was exactly the perfect environment for him, you could argue that. I don't doubt that. But when he left here he was a good player. They didn't [invent him]. He was a pretty good player when he left here."

Also in CONCACAF competition, Mexico travels to the Caribbean to face Trinidad and Tobago. Mexico leads the group with seven points after three matches but is only four points ahead of last-place Honduras in a very competitive hexagonal.

In CONMEBOL, first-place Brazil is coming off a big road victory over Uruguay and host seventh-place Paraguay. Earlier in the day, Bolivia earned a home win over Argentina, 2-0.
