Sofia Carson Releases New Revlon Makeup Collection: Prices, Product Info

Sofia Carson surprised fans with a new makeup line on Monday. The star of Netflix’s “Feel The Beat” teamed up with Revlon, for which she’s been a brand ambassador since January, for the Revlon x Sofia Carson Makeup Collection.

So what makeup products are in the line? Carson is keeping it simple with three essentials: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks (standard bullet lipstick), Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color (liquid lipstick) and Super Lustrous Nail Enamel (nail polish).

The products can be divided into two Lip and Nail Kits. The first is The Sofia Reds, a new color developed for this collaboration. Carson’s fans know that the “Descendants” star is a big fan of the classic red lip, so this makes perfect sense.

“The most surreal part of it all is the fact that there is a shade called The Sofia Red,” Carson told Allure. "In my wildest dreams, I never imagined that."

Of course, sometimes a girl needs to be a little more subtle, so the other Lip and Nail Kit is called The Sofia Nudes. It includes the shade Obsessed, her perfect nude, created just for the new line.

Each Lip and Nail Kit includes one bullet lipstick, one liquid lipstick and one nail polish in the corresponding color. The Revlon x Sofia Carson kits retail on Revlon’s website for $19.99 each.

Outside of the kits, the Revlon x Sofia Carson Collection includes four bullet lipsticks (under $9 each). In addition to The Sofia Red and Obsessed, the collection includes the orange-red On Fire and the dusty rose Untold Stories. See the colors in the tweet below:

The four matte liquid lipsticks ($10 each) include Carson’s two new colors along with the hot pink Forever Yours and the purple-red Wish.

Carson’s four-nail polish line ($6 each) brings in the dark burgundy In the Woods and and the rich purple Black Cherry colors to round out the line. Again, those are in addition to The Sofia Red and Obsessed.

“Since I can remember, one of my favorite places in the world was my mom’s vanity, where I discovered my love of fashion, beauty and the perfect red Revlon lipstick,” the actress told Revlon in January. “I wore it at my very first dance recital and every recital, performance, and dance competition after that. I felt invincible on stage in my red lipstick, like I could do and be anything.”

The entire collection will be available at various retailers. Walmart (where prices range from $3.92 to $14.98) has the collection listed as a pre-order that will ship on Tuesday, July 21.
