Is Sofia Richie Working On An Album? Mom Dishes On What She Sounds Like

Sofia Richie is already a model and a fashion designer. Now, it seems she may be looking to add singer to that list.

"That’s her secret," Sofia's mother, Diane Alexander dished to Life&Style about her daughter's ability to sing.

The 21-year-old model is the daughter of music legend and American Idol judge Lionel Richie, so it's not exactly a surprise that those vocal gifts got passed down to her. When it comes to a career in the entertainment industry though, that won't be passed down as easily.

"Here’s the secret, she didn’t have any help from her dad, none, he’s not helping anybody," Diane revealed. "Not in a bad way, he’s like 'If you’re gonna make it, you’re gonna make it on your own, it’s not going to be handed to you.'"

Despite not getting an edge up from her famous father, her mother expressed that she's not worried that her daughter might fail and shared that Sofia has the determination and drive to make her dreams come true.

"She’s a good girl, she’s going to make it,” she said.

It may be a while before Sofia drops a debut album or single, but for those wondering what she sounds like, Diane explained that her "voice is between like Adele and Rihanna."
