Sofia Vergara-Joe Manganiello Update: Why Bridesmaids Aren't In Her Wedding Plan [VIDEO]

“Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara doesn't want any bridesmaids by her side when she says “I do” to hunky “Magic Mike XXL” actor Joe Manganiello, she said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday. For her second marriage, the Colombian native is being clear on what she wants and what she doesn’t at her ceremony.

“We’re not doing anything crazy. We’re doing a traditional wedding,” Vergara, 43, told host Kimmel. “The one difference that we don’t have, for example, [are] bridesmaids -- we only have flower girls and a ring boy.” The ceremony is set to take place at the Breakers Palm Beach resort in Florida on Nov. 22, Us Weekly added.

It’s not a tradition in her homeland to have bridesmaids, she said. “I don’t think that tradition would have ever lasted one second in Latin America,” she mused. “It would be torture.”

Vergara added: “How do you pick your bridesmaids? All your cousins are your best friends -- the whole wedding would be dressed in the same outfit!”

The actress continued to spill more information to Kimmel about her wedding. For instance, 400 guests are coming, including the entire cast of “Modern Family.” Ed O’Neil, who plays her husband Jay Pritchett on the hit comedy, is “ready” to attend, she added.

But the ceremony that everyone is “so excited” for almost didn’t happen. Vergara admitted that she didn’t want to go out with Manganiello because he was “too handsome.”

The Colombian beauty was afraid women would fawn over the former “True Blood” actor, and she didn’t want to compete. “Girls don’t care!” she said. “Have you seen him? I understand it, I don’t judge them.”

Ultimately, she’s happy she gave the 6-foot, 5-inch actor a shot. “I'm very grateful that I did [go] out with him,” she concluded.
