Song For The Summer Entry: Demi Lovato Releases ‘Cool For The Summer’

After teasing her fans with “some big super exciting crazy news” on her social media accounts, former Disney star Demi Lovato finally has released her new single “Cool For The Summer.”

Right in time for the season’s blazing heat, Demi Lovato dropped her new hit song “Cool For The Summer.” Entertainment Weekly reported that the new track, produced by Max Martin, is Lovato’s entry for Song of the Summer.

It was pretty obvious that the single “Cool For The Summer” got her fans tightly hooked up. E! News noted the much awaited launch adding that the hit song was actually leaked a day earlier before its official release. Even so,

“Cool For The Summer” will be featured in her yet to be titled upcoming fifth album. It is expected to be released later this year. Earlier this month, she told MTV News via email, “For this album, I’m making music that feels right to me. This time around, I was able to explore different sounds, and hone in on something that I’m really proud of.” She is currently directing her inspirations on her upcoming project. “I’m inspired by something every day so those experiences will definitely be reflected on my next album,” she said.
