Sophia Grace and Rosie: Amazing Super Bass Rapper Girls Become AMA Correspondents (VIDEO)
Life of Sophia Grace Brownlee, 8, and her cousin Rosie, 5, changed after Sophia uploaded on YouTube on Sep 15, 2011, their take on Super Bass song by Nicki Minaj.
To date, the video has grabbed over 20 million eyeballs, prompting Sophia's parents to create YouTube and Twitter accounts for her.
The viral video brought opportunity to these two little kids. Several weeks after the video was uploaded on YouTube, they were invited to The Ellen DeGeneres Show where Nicki Minaj was the surprise guest.
The 2 little British girls also appeared in the Ellen Show on Tuesday. In the show, Ellen recalled the good time the kids had with Nicki Minaj.
Sophia expressed her excitement by saying, Oh, that was so good! I couldn’t get to sleep that night. Also, Ellen interviewed them about their life, about how their lives have changed.
Besides talking, Sophia and Rosie bowled over the audience with their charming and powerful voice and energy and belted out the song Rolling in the Deep by Adele.
A lot of people gonna be there. So The American Music Awards (AMA) is coming up for a couple of week. And what I would like for you two to do is to be on the red carpet interviewing those people when they come on the red carpet, Ellen DeGeneres told Sophia and Rosie.
At first Sophia reacted with a big smile to Rosie and then both of burst out screaming and bubbling with delight and excitement.
This is a great opportunity for the little kids to stardom. Moreover, the audience will also get a chance to see them again at the AMA.
