Sophie, Countess of Wessex, deserves more recognition.

On Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated the success of her charity, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust. Her Majesty was photographed with a huge smile on her face while she was accompanied by her favorite royal, Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

Royal fans were very delighted that the countess joined the monarch for the event. After the sighting, many aired their opinion about Sophie and the majority agreed that she deserves more recognition.

“The Countess of Wessex is brilliant at what she does and unfortunately she doesn’t get enough credit. Bravo,” royal commentator Dickie Arbiter wrote on Twitter.

“Totally agree, she needs more recognition, although believe HM is very appreciative,” another online user commented.

Several also said that Prince Edward’s wife is a “wonderful asset” to the Queen and the royal family. A different user said that she totally agreed with Arbiter before adding that Sophie is “quiet, classy dignified asset to the RF.”

“I’ve always thought Sophie was an asset. She gets on with the job in hand quietly and without fuss and she carries out her duties wonderfully. She is a credit to the royal family,” another online user wrote.

The Queen has been very supportive of Sophie. In fact, when Sophie was about to join the royal family, Her Majesty bent a rule that she never broke for Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson.

When Sophie was just Prince Edward’s girlfriend, the monarch allowed her to stay in the palace even before they got engaged. The move was deemed to be a significant change in attitude and approach for the Queen’s part as the late Princess of Wales and Duchess of York only moved to the palace after they were formally engaged to Prince Charles and Prince Andrew, respectively.

In related news, Sophie is said to be a good dancer. A few weeks ago, the royal danced the waltz in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Buckingham Palace shared a clip of Sophie showcasing her grooves in the dance floor. The countess revealed that she was a huge fan of “Strictly Come Dancing.” Royal fans were very pleased after watching her performance with many of them praising Sophie.
