Soulja Boy And Chris Brown Beef: ‘Crank Dat’ Rapper Apologizes To Singer, Wants To Collaborate
After a day of feuding with Chris Brown on social media and beefing with other rappers over the past few months, Soulja Boy is ready to end his beefs.
On Wednesday, the “Crank Dat” rapper upload a video on Twitter apologizing for his actions and revealing that his mother is sick.
“This video right here is for team Soulja and all of my fans,” the rapper started off his video. “I just want to send an apology over the past couple of months, I’ve been acting out, I’ve been wildin’ out. And at the end of the day, it’s not about who starts the beefs, it’s about who ends them.”
It appears the rapper’s sudden change of heart was brought on by his mother, who he found out was in the hospital. “I found out that my mom’s is in the hospital. The doctors told me everything should be alright.” While his mom is doing OK, Soulja said he can’t focus on anything else.
“No amount of money, no amount of cars, no amount of fame will make me be alright with knowing my mom’s sick,” Soulja said. “I know she’s not proud of my actions and what I’ve been doing recently.”
Ending his feud with Chris Brown wasn’t the only thing Soulja Boy wanted to do. Later in the video, the rapper said he would like to collaborate with Brown and other artists he has feuded with including Lil Yachty and Quavo of Migos.
“I wanna make music with Chris Brown, Yachty, Quavo, everybody,” he said. “To all the media, to all the blogs, to all my homies from the hood... I apologize. I’m back to the music. Big Soulja.”
Soulja Boy’s apology comes a few hours after saying he wanted to set up a boxing match with Brown. “Setting up the boxing match with Chris Brown,” he said. “Wanted [Adrien Broner] to train me, but he can’t, so I’m getting Floyd.”
