Two people were killed and nine others are injured in a shooting early Saturday morning at the Old Skool Sports Bar and Grill in Lancaster, North Carolina. Police have not named suspects.

A dispute between two patrons escalated to the shooting at around 2:45 a.m., according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s office, who continue to investigate the incident.

Henry Colvin, 39, and Aaron Harris, 38, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to local reports. Four of the injured had to be airlifted away to receive treatment, while another four were able to receive treatment locally for non-critical injuries. The one remaining victim suffered only minor injuries while attempting to flee the scene and was released shortly after receiving treatment. None of the victims’ identities have been publicly disclosed.

“This was a violent incident of huge magnitude that was witnessed by lots of people," Sheriff Barry Faile said. “Two people are dead, and many more are seriously injured. The shooter or shooters are out there. We need to talk with everybody who was at the club when the shooting happened, and I encourage those witnesses to contact us immediately so those responsible for these deaths and injuries can be taken into custody.”

Police remain uncertain about how many guns were fired during the incident. They did confirm, however, that shots were fired inside and outside of the building.

“This event is very tragic and will affect all involved, for years to come,” Coroner Karla Deese said. “The sheer magnitude of injury is like none I have seen in my 14 years with the Coroner's Office.”

Lancaster is located roughly 45 miles south of Charlotte.
