Stock index futures pointed to a higher open on Thursday after top cell phone maker Nokia reassured investors by reaffirming its handset market forecast and a report said that Sun Microsystems Inc
Shares of JPMorgan Chase & Co
S&P 500 futures rose 1.90 points and were above fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures were flat, and Nasdaq 100 futures jumped 13.50 points.
