'Spider-Man: Far From Home' Trailer: Everything We Learned From Brazil Comic Con
The first trailer of “Spider-Man: Far From Home” is yet to be officially released online, but fans who attended the recent Comic Con in Brazil got a chance to see it. People who were there at the event have teased the trailer description online, which should give fans an idea about what the film and the plot are all about. Meanwhile, lead cast member Tom Holland recently shared a funny video online.
According to the Independent, there’s a lot of flirting going on in the trailer. The video reportedly begins with a scene involving Peter Parker, Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau). Happy tries to flirt with May in this scene.
The next shot is of Peter and his friends going for a school trip to Europe. Peter decides to leave his Spider-Man suit behind. Does this mean the young man is feeling some superhero fatigue?
In another scene, Peter flirts with Michelle Jones (Zendaya). The two characters are in Venice, Italy with Ned (Jacob Batalon).
The action picks up when Peter and Ned are in a hotel room in Paris. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) reportedly bursts into the room and tranqualizes Ned. The former head of S.H.I.E.L.D. then recruits Spider-Man for a mission.
The trailer ends with an action sequence. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join together to fight the real enemy in the film, who is revealed to be Hydro Man. Will Mysterio and Peter, who start off with an antagonist relationship, eventually become friends?
Meanwhile, a new video has surfaced online that shows Holland catching Gyllenhaal shooting imaginary spider web from his hands in the bathroom of their hotel room. The video begins with Holland thanking all the fans in Brazil, and later he catches his fellow cast member trying to be Spider-man in the privacy of the bathroom.
When Holland asks his fellow cast member what he is doing, Gyllenhaal awkwardly says that he is washing his hands, before closing the bathroom door.
Holland has posted a longer video montage of his time in Brazil on his Instagram page. The video included some behind-the-scenes footage from the Comic Con, as well as some of the actor’s interactions with the fans.
There will be some exciting new things to look forward to in the “Spider-Man” sequel. Previously, a report by Collider teased a few pictures of the new stealth suit the wall-crawling superhero will wear.
