'Spider-Man' Star J B Smoove Says Tom Holland, Zendaya Are 'The Most Adorable Couple Ever'
J.B. Smoove, who played Julius Dell in "Spider-Man" movies, opened up about his two on-screen students – Tom Holland and Zendaya. The 55-year-old actor has praised the couple and gave them some relationship advice.
"Oh, I love those two. I love them so much," Smoove told ET over the weekend. "The most adorable couple ever in the history of adorableness."
The actor said the couple needs to make time for love and also laughter.
"Laughter. Smiles. Stress-free lifestyle, you know. Find out about each other and find some way to keep watering that seed and keep growing and growing," he added to the outlet.
Holland and Zendaya first met on the sets of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2016 and became good friends.
In fact, the 25-year-old actor praised Zendaya in an interview with People at the time, saying, "She's so great and amazing." He added that Zendaya is already very popular and she knows how to deal with fame.
The rumors of their relationship began in 2017 during the press tour of "Spider-Man: Homecoming." A source revealed at the time that the two were dating quietly and wanted to keep their relationship private.
Holland took to Instagram in 2018 and shared a solo photo of Zendaya during her Met Gala appearance. "All hail the queen. Killing it mate," he captioned the photo.
Fast forward to 2021 and the couple was spotted kissing in a car.
Holland will be next seen in Marvel's highly anticipated movie, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which is slated to release on Dec. 17. He will also feature in an action-adventure movie, titled "Uncharted," which will release on Feb. 18, 2022.
Zendaya will be featured in "Dune: Part Two," besides appearing in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" along with Holland. "Dune: Part Two" is a fantasy drama, which is scheduled for a 2023 release.
Smoove is currently filming a TV series, "Fables," and he will also feature in a comedy movie, "Back on the Strip," which is under post-production.
