Stacey Dash Slams Kanye West On Fox News: 'Go To Riker's Island And See What Rape Is'
Stacey Dash was best known for being in “Clueless,” but now she is quite popular for her controversial comments. The 47-year-old stunner, who is now a regular on the Fox News program, “Outnumbered,” had some choice words for rapper Kanye West during this week’s show.
Though Dash worked with West on his 2004 music video, “All Falls Down,” it doesn’t seem like they've kept in touch. During the program, Dash scorned celebrities who complain about the paparazzi and fame and compare both to rape and war. West reportedly spoke about the paparazzi during a rant while performing in London this past weekend.
Dash supported the paparazzi and had some harsh words for Kim Kardashian’s husband. "For Kanye to say rape, maybe he needs to spend some time on Rikers Island… Go to Rikers for a little while and then he'll know what rape is," she said. "I don't get celebrities not understanding that the paparazzi are doing their job,” she said.
Dash’s mouth has landed her in hot water with fans over the past year. Last April, many were not pleased when she criticized Beyonce and Jay Z for going to Cuba, violating the longstanding U.S. embargo against the country. Dash asked on Twitter: “Do you care that The Jay Z’s have taken the capital you have given them and funded a communist oppressive regime?”
Responses from her followers mainly showed support for the couple’s trip. “Going to Cuba does not make you a Communist,” one person wrote. “Twitter has made me understand how she [Dash] gets married, dumped/divorced so quickly…chick is pretty but a total airhead…such a waste,” another said.
In October, Dash got flak for supporting former presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Twitter. Wearing a red bathing suit and red lipstick, the beautiful actress stood in front of the American flag with a prop that read "Dash America" and had a large "R" on it.
“Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future,” the photo caption read.
People on Twitter immediately responded, most negatively. User @Mylee_Evelyn wrote “I am no longer a Stacey Dash fan lol.” @Big_Pak wrote, “All beauty, no brains."
