There was a lot of gossip about Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga after their Oscar night performance. Now, their fellow “A Star Is Born” cast member, Shangela, has said in an interview that the two of them “deserve love.”

Speaking at the Variety and Mercedes-Benz Power of Pride event in New York City, Shangela said that the film “A Star Is Born” is at the root a “passionate love story,” ET Online reported. He added that Cooper and Gaga are two people from the film who “deserve love.”

Shangela didn’t suggest that Cooper and Gaga date each other. He will be happy for them no matter where they find love.

“So, wherever they find it, I’m like, ‘Hallelujah, ya’ll better get it!” Shangela said.

Talking about Cooper and Gaga’s onscreen chemistry in the film, Shangela said that they have a “kinetic energy” that made the audience feel like they live for the two characters and the love they shared on screen.

If Cooper and Gaga do decide to date each other and later get married, they have the support of Shangela. “Look, I just wanna catch the bouquet!” he said about the possible wedding.

Both Cooper and Gaga have split from their respective partners, and they are both single at the moment. However, there is no indication that they will start dating each other.

The Oscar night performance of Cooper and Gaga is still fresh in the minds of the fans, and recently there was a rumor that the two of them will be reuniting on stage to play the same song from “A Star Is Born” at the Glastonbury music festival. The organizer of the event Emily Eavis, however, debunked the rumor and said the two actors are not a part of the festival.

Meanwhile, the onscreen chemistry of Cooper and Gaga has helped “A Star Is Born” reach new heights. The album of the film sold over 6 million copies globally and it has been certified as double platinum in the U.S., Variety reported.
