Over the course of six seasons on The CW’s “The 100“ as Octavia Blake, star Marie Avgeropoulos has gotten to try her hand at a lot of different things, from intense action scenes to emotional breakdowns to complicated romances, but she got to try something completely new with her latest project, “Wonder Woman: Bloodlines.”

In Warner Bros.’ first standalone animated Wonder Woman movie since 2009, Avgeropoulos voices the character of Vanessa Kapatelis, AKA Silver Swan, and it’s her first voiceover role, as well as her first time portraying a DC Comics character.

“This is such a dream for me,” the actress told International Business Times at New York Comic Con 2019 earlier this month. “It doesn’t even feel like it’s really happening. So, I’m super thrilled and honored to be part of a project like this, I can’t explain it.”

“Wonder Woman: Bloodlines” sees Wonder Woman, voiced by Rosario Dawson, trying to help Vanessa after she falls in with a bad crowd — Dr. Cyber’s (Mozhan Marnò) deadly organization, Villainy Inc.

The movie is a big change from “The 100,” which is one of the reasons why Avgeropoulos is excited for fans of her CW show to check it out.

“I think [‘The 100’ fans are] gonna be excited to see me play a different character other than Octavia, or Blodreina, for sure,” she told IBT. “And this is such an iconic franchise and they’re gonna see the different sides and shades of Vanessa and Silver Swan, and I think they’re just gonna be really excited to see me in a different light. “
