The long awaited return of Ahsoka Tano (voice by Ashley Eckstein) will finally happen in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Season 7, episode 5. A preview video of the next episode has been released online and it shows the former Jedi helping two sisters in the lower levels of Coruscant.
According to the official plot, Ashoka will find herself in the underworld of Coruscant after leaving the Jedi Order. A preview video of the next episode shows Ashsoka attempting to hide her past as she gets recruited by Rafa and her sister Trace Martez. The two sisters will have questions about their new friend’s past, but she will keep her answers vague while offering her help.
Ahsoka may not be able to hide her past for long because she will get involved in some brutal fights that will force her show her real powers. Her journey will put her in touch with some shady underworld characters in the lower levels of Coruscant and she will also witness how the Republic will slowly evolve into a tyrannical empire because of the war.
Preview stills of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Season 7, episode 5 that have been released on the official website of the franchise tease some of the action sequences and a side of Coruscant that the fans rarely get to see.
Anakin Skywalker (voice by Matt Lanter) is missing in the preview video. It remains to be seen if the Jedi Master will get to meet his Padawan in the next episode. The first four episodes of the new season have been largely focussed on Anakin and a new unit of clones known as the Bad Batch. The fans can watch all the previous episodes on Disney+.
“Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Season 7, episode 5 is titled “Gone With a Trace.” It will be released on March 20 on Disney+ streaming platform.
