The Knights of Ren, a mysterious group headed by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) will have a big role to play in “Star Wars: Episode 9.” According to new leaks that have surfaced online, this group will be seen on a desert planet.

Very few official details about the Knights of Ren have been released so far. The fans have seen glimpses of the group in Rey’s (Daisy Ridley) Force visions, but it still isn’t clear what their exact role is in the First Order. The upcoming film is expected to shed more light on this mysterious group.

The Knights of Ren will be seen in a desert location in “Star Wars: Episode 9,” Making Star Wars reported. A lot of the filming related to this group is said to have taken place in Jordon and at Pinewood.

Billy Dee Williams, who is reprising his role as Lando Calrissian, also filmed his scenes in Jordon and Pinewood. However, it isn’t clear yet if he will meet the Knights of Ren.

There will be a total of six Knights of Ren. Two of them will use big blaster rifles that have been compared to the guns seen in the “Halo” video games. The third knight with an iron mask wields a staff. The fourth member of this group wields a mace. Another member has a staff with a blade, and the last one has a large butcher’s knife and a dagger.

The weapons and costumes of the Knights of Ren have reportedly gotten an upgrade since “The Force Awakens,” but these upgrades are said to be minor changes. According to a previous report by Making Star Wars, along with an upgrade in costume the knights will also command an army of soldiers in red armor.

As far as the new planets in “Star Wars: Episode 9” are concerned, Making Star Wars reported that there will be a desert planet and a jungle planet in the film. There will also be a swamp location, but it isn’t clear if this is a separate planet or a part of the jungle world.
