'Star Wars: Episode 9' Leaks Reveal Scenes Of Final Battle
New “Star Wars: Episode 9” leaks have surfaced online that tease the final battle against the Emperor (Ian McDiarmid). The stills from the movie have been deleted after a copyright complaint by Lucasfilm, but details about the photos and the plot details remain.
The following article contains spoilers of “Star Wars: Episode 9.”
The first leaked image that was posted on Reddit, but was removed after the copyright complaint, showed Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) joining forces to take on Palpatine. The two heroes use blue lightsabers that may belong to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Leia (Carrie Fisher).
The leak has been confirmed by Jason Ward as being authentic. Ward heads Making Star Wars, which is a fan site that has been sharing details about the plot and scenes featured in the upcoming movie, many of which have been proved to be right in the trailers.
The second picture that was on Reddit until recently showed Rey facing Palpatine in the final battle in “Star Wars: Episode 9.” The trailer only teased the Emperor strapped to a vertical bed of some kind when he faced Rey, but during the movie, he will rejuvenate back to his younger self after he absorbs the Force powers of both the Jedi and Kylo Ren.
The leaked picture showed the Emperor using Force lightening on Rey. The confrontation will take place in the stone throne room that was teased in the trailer.
While the Emperor will be rejuvenated after absorbing the Force powers, he will not age back to the time when he was a Senator. He will still be scarred and deformed, giving him the evil look that he is famous for.
While there are authentic “Star Wars: Episode 9” leaks circulating online, there is one fake picture as well. Ward confirmed that the close up photo of the Emperor with no belt lights is actually fake.
