'Star Wars: Episode 9': Next Trailer May Be Released During Monday Night Football
The next trailer of “Star Wars: Episode 9” is expected to be released next week, and now there is confirmation about the same. Keeping with the tradition of the franchise, the fans will get to see new footage of the movie during the upcoming Monday Night Football.
Cast member John Boyega’s agent took to Instagram recently to announce that the next trailer of the sci-fi movie will be released on Monday. Although he said that it’s “official,” readers should note that Lucasfilm and Disney have not yet made any announcements about releasing a video during Monday Night Football.
Although there has been no official confirmation, the release date of the next trailer appears to be accurate because both “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi” trailers were shown during Monday Night Football. There is no reason for Lucasfilm to change a strategy that has worked so well in the past.
The “Star Wars” news and commentary account Black Series Rebels also confirmed that the trailer will be released during Monday Night Football. However, the date has been revealed to be Oct. 21 and not next week.
The next “Star Wars: Episode 9” trailer will be the final one form the movie ahead of its December release. The new footage should highlight some of the major action sequences of the movie and shocking moments. Will Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) make an in the flesh appearance in the video?
A previous prediction about the next trailer of the movie by Screen Rant placed the release date as Oct. 14. The report pointed out that the video of “The Force Awakens” was shown on Oct. 19, and “The Last Jedi” video premiered on Oct. 9, which means that the fans should get to see the new footage of the upcoming movie soon.
“Star Wars: Episode 9” will be released on Dec. 20. The film has been directed by JJ Abrams.
