'Star Wars: Episode 9' Spoilers: Funny Scene With C-3PO Revealed
The protocol droid C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) will be back in “Star Wars: Episode 9.” Traditionally, this droid has been used as comic relief, and the same will happen in the upcoming movie. A scene description that has surfaced online reveals a funny sequence that the droid will be involved in.
The following article contains spoilers of “Star Wars: Episode 9.”
According to Making Star Wars, one of the scenes in the upcoming film involves C-3PO wearing Chewbacca’s (Joonas Suotamo) bandolier. The droid will also be wielding the Wookie’s bowcaster and Rey’s (Daisy Ridley) staff.
Daniels has already completed his part of the filming. He announced on Twitter that he is done with the filming of scenes for C-3PO. The last day on the set was a sad day for the actor, and he said that he would miss everyone.
One big character who will be returning in the film is Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams). The character’s role will limited, and it is being compared to the role Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong’o) in the previous movies. In his brief cameo, Lando will point the heroes in the right direction.
Fans of the franchise will remember how Maz helped the heroes in the first two films in the new trilogy. According to a previous report by Making Star Wars the heroes and villains in “Star Wars: Episode 9” will be seeking something, just like the way they were looking for the piece of the map that revealed Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) location in “The Force Awakens.”
Two new cast members of the film are Naomi Ackie and Keri Russell. The names of their characters haven’t been revealed officially yet. Now, a few details about their characters have surfaced online.
Ackie’s character is expected to be a Resistance fighter who wields a bow, which may or may not shoot lasers. Russell’s character is expected to wear a helmet in “Star Wars: Episode 9.” There is no confirmation whether these descriptions are of characters played by the two above mentioned actors.
