'Star Wars: Episode 9' Theory: Is Finn Going To Die?

“Star Wars: Episode 9” is the last film in the new trilogy. It remains to be seen if the surviving characters of the film will make an appearance in the next trilogies that are currently being developed. There may also be a few main characters who will die in the film. Will Finn (John Boyega) be the character who will die and give the movie a bittersweet ending after the defeat of the First Order?

The storyline and some of the elements of the new trilogy are very similar to the classic trilogy that began the “Star Wars” journey. “Return of The Jedi” ended with the celebration of the fall of the Empire, but there was also a funeral towards the end that added a dash of sadness.Will there be a funeral in “Star Wars: Episode 9”?

Filming has already been completed, and the cast and crew members enjoyed a wrap party. Curiously, cast member Joonas Suotamo, who has taken over the role of Chewbacca, shared a video on Instagram of him talking to Boyega about how much they are going to miss each other.

Chewbacca has been a part of the spin off film “Solo,” and since he is an important character in the franchise, he may return in the future films. But, what about Finn?

Fans who have watched “The Last Jedi” know that Finn is a little suicidal while completing a mission. Will he finally get a chance to lay down his life for the cause in the next film? Suotamo hasn’t shared a video of any other cast member from the wrap party.

Commenting on the post, many of the fans hoped that Chewbacca doesn’t die in the film. Others pointed out that even if the character dies in the film there are many stories in between the movies that can be made into stand-alone films, which means there is a good chance that the dead characters will come back.

Meanwhile, the cast members of the film are enjoying the completion of the film. Boyega shared some fun moments from the wrap party on Instagram.

Finn is a lead character in “Star Wars: Episode 9.” Although the main thrust has been on Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Rey (Daisy Ridley), the fans have loved the bromance between Finn and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac).

The official “Star Wars” Instagram page recently teased a behind-the-scenes picture of Boyega training for a lighsaber duel for “The Force Awakens.” It remains to be seen how big a role he will play in the next film and if he will get a chance to use a lighsaber again.
