'Star Wars: The Force Awakens': Kylo Ren Talks About The 'Dark Side' In New Trailer
A new action packed trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has been released by the producers. The video shows Kylo Ren talking about showing the power of the “dark side” to the heroes.
The video, posted on YouTube, shows the battle scene at the Starkiller base of the First Order and other action sequences in the movie. “I’ll show them the Dark Side,” Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) says in the video. Kylo Ren is not a Sith Lord, but a member of a mysterious group called the Knights of Ren.
Finn (John Boyega) joins Han Solo (Harrison Ford) as they seem to be planning an attack at the Starkillerbase. Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) can also be seen in the background in this scene and he appears to have been captured. “Are you sure you’re up for this?” Han Solo asks Finn in the scene. Finn, however, is still unsure of himself at this point.
Finn will be seen taking on a Stormtrooper and will get to weild a blue lightsaber in the movie. The heroes will not get to win all their battles against the First Order in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and one of the scenes shows Finn, Han and Chewbacca surrendering to the enemy.
Meanwhile, the director of the movie J.J. Abrams has confirmed that there will not be any mid-credits of post-credits scenes in his movie. According to a report by Collider, the director made the announcement at a recent press conference. The report says that none of the previous movies from the franchise have teased the next movie by including a post-credits scene and Abrams may be following the same tradition with his movie.
“Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace” did contain the sound of Darth Vader breathing at the end of the credits, but that did not set up the sequel in any way and the character only appeared in the last movie in the trilogy.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is slated to be released on Dec. 18. Some of the cast members of the movie are Daisy Ridley (Rey), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Leia), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma) and Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron).
