The next trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” may be unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con event. The producers have announced that the filmmakers’ team will be sharing the stage with some “special guests” to talk about the forthcoming movie.

The Comic-Con event is set to take place from July 9 to July 12 at the San Diego Convention Center. The official “Star Wars” website announced that the team from the forthcoming movie will be giving a “special look” at the movie. The announcement did not confirm whether or not the next trailer of the movie will be shown at the event.

The event will feature action figures from Hasbro and new novels based on the movie franchise. The authors who will be among the panelists include Alexandra Bracken, Adam Gidwitz, Tom Angleberger and Tony Diterlizzi. The authors will be talking with Lucasfilm’s Mike Siglain about the original “Star Wars” trilogy movies from a perspective that is set to “change the way readers understand who these beloved characters are and how they became legends for legions of fans.”

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will not be the sole focus of the team visiting the San Diego Comic-Con. Panelists also are expected to talk about other upcoming projects from the franchise. The Industrial Light & Magic, the company behind some of the visual effects in the movie, will also make a presentation about the breakthroughs in film-making technologies, like motion capture.

Meanwhile, in another report by the official “Star Wars” website, Amy Ratcliffe shares eight behind-the-scenes facts about Chewbacca. According to the report, while shooting “The Empire Strikes Back,” director Irvin Kershner would only speak to Peter Mayhew, the actor who plays the character, when he was in full costume. The other facts about the character relate to how the voice was created using the sounds of lions and badgers and also about how the actor studied monkeys for the role.

Mayhew will be reprising his role as Chewbacca in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The character was seen in the second trailer of the movie, but it’s not been confirmed whether the actor will be one of the panelists at the San Diego Comic-Con.
