'Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker' Spoilers: 'Creepy Castle' Or 'Sith Temple'
There will be a “creepy castle” or what is being referred to as a “Sith Temple” in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” One of the scenes in the teaser trailer is reportedly from this new location, and details about it have surfaced online.
The following article contains spoilers from “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
A “creepy castle” will be featured in the upcoming film, Making Star Wars reported. Sources who are familiar with the developments of the film have also called this new location a “Sith Temple,” however it isn’t clear at this point whether they are referring to the location as being Sith to show it’s evil nature or if the film will mark the return of the Dark Side Force wielders.
The castle appears to belong to an “ape man.” The first teaser trailer of the film showed someone fixing Kylo Ren’s (Adam Driver) mask, and this apparently was the ape man in the castle.
Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren will be on a quest, according to the report, and they will stop at the ape man’s castle to get the mask repaired. The ash in the surrounding area suggests that the planet Mustafar will be back in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The fixing of Kylo Ren’s mask is important for the Knights of Ren for some reason. The scene reportedly shows them being nervous and excited at the same time while waiting, like expectant fathers. The group has been described as “rowdy and evil bunch of degenerates.”
JJ Abrams reportedly shot different ways in which the mask gets fixed. There was a scene in which Kylo Ren himself fixed the mask. The Knights of Ren helped with the repairs in another scene, and then there is the ape man. The director may have shot different versions of the scene to choose the best one.
The fixing of the mask isn’t the only thing that the ape man will do in the castle. The mysterious character will also activate a device that will guide the Knights of Ren to their destination.
What is the quest of the Knights of Ren in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”? A previous report by Making Star Wars suggested that a threat from “The Beyond” will make Kylo Ren vulnerable. It remains to be seen what this new threat is and how the new Supreme Leader of the First Order will fight it.
