'Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker' Theory: Return Of The Sith
“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will not only end the sequel trilogy, but it is also an opportunity for the filmmakers to setup the future of the franchise. A new theory suggests that the Sith will return in the next film as the arch rivals of the new generation of Jedi in the future.
Rey (Daisy Ridley) is the last Jedi in the galaxy. Her enemy, at least at the start of the next film, will be Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). The movies have already confirmed that both Snoke (Andy Serkis) and his apprentice are not Sith. Will that change in the next film?
The Emperor will be back, the teaser trailer has already confirmed. However, it remains to be seen how the character will return because he is dead. Ian McDiarmid has also suggested in an interview that he is not there in the film.
As previously reported, there are rumors about Matt Smith playing the role of the Emperor. No matter how Palpatine returns, it will have a huge impact on Kylo Ren, who has declared himself as the new Supreme Leader of the First Order.
According to a new theory about “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” by Screen Rant, the return of the Emperor is an opportunity for Kylo Ren to complete his journey towards the Dark Side and become a Sith. Driver’s character has already tilted heavily towards the Dark Side by first killing his father and then killing his master, which is also in the Sith tradition of killing the master to take over his position.
Kylo Ren is also an important character for the future of “Star Wars.” A book description of “Galaxy’s Edge: Black Spire” mistakenly shared details about another book that is focused on Driver’s character. This suggests that there is a book focused on the life of Kylo Ren that will be released sometime in the future, probably after the upcoming film is released. Will the Supreme Leader become a Sith Lord like his grandfather?
“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will be released on Dec. 20. The film has been directed by JJ Abrams.
