Starbucks 2022 Holiday Menu: When Can You Get This Year's Drinks, New Cups?

The most exciting time of the year has arrived for Starbucks fans as the Seattle-based coffee chain announced the return of its famous holiday drinks and festive treats. Luckily, customers can expect to see the 2022 holiday menu, in the very near future.

Beginning Thursday, Starbucks customers will be able to order this year's holiday beverages.

The seasonal menu will feature the return of popular items like the Peppermint Mocha, which will turn 20 years old this holiday season.

The beverage, which made its menu debut in 2002, is made up of espresso, steamed milk, mocha sauce, and peppermint-flavored syrup. The holiday drink is then topped with whipped cream and dark chocolate curls.

Other holiday drinks include the Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, and Irish Cream Cold Brew.

The non-dairy Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte will also be returning for its second holiday season on the menu.

Starbucks announced it was celebrating "25 years of the iconic holiday cup and the return of a full menu of seasonal handcrafted beverages and festive food."

Coffee lovers will also be able to add some seasonal treats to their orders. Items like the popular Snowman Cookie will return to the menu along with the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, Reindeer Cake Pop, and Cranberry Bliss Bar.

However, the Chocolate Pistachio Swirl will make its debut on the Starbucks holiday menu for the 2022 season.

The brioche-inspired dough pastry features a swirl of creamy chocolate filling with hints of cinnamon and coffee with mint chocolate chips and is topped with chopped pistachios.

Fans can expect to enjoy their seasonal drinks in one of the four new specially designed holiday cups. The Gift Wrapped Magic design will feature red and green shimmering sparkles and wavy ribbons.

The Frosted Sparkle cup will be covered in mint green with red accented shapes. The Ornament Wonder design features a white background with a micro pattern of Christmas trees, snowflakes, and other Christmas motifs.

Finally, the Cozy Evergreen design will feature a twist on the classic red cup with large white evergreen trees in a graphic pattern.

The holiday drinks will be available in hot, iced, and as a Frappuccino at Starbucks locations.
