Steam is hosting a huge sale of Japanese games across almost every genre in celebration of Japan’s Golden Week. Players who are looking to build up their libraries with their favorite series or discover new ones can now get up to 80% off their purchase.

For the uninformed, Golden Week is an annual celebration where four out of 16 of Japan’s national holidays take place. The entire week is dedicated to the celebration of each individual holiday, which typically results in a lot of free time for the people of Japan.

The Golden Week Steam sale is great for Japanese players who want to spend their holidays at home, but it also serves as a good opportunity for these games to reach a wider audience in the West.
