Ayesha Curry was the butt of all jokes today after being criticized for dancing on the opening of her new restaurant chain. The 30-year-old wife of Warriors star Steph Curry was seen dancing some Milly Rock when Twitter critics started to lambast her in the social messaging platform.

Steph won't be having anything of that.

The three-time NBA champion posted a video on Twitter to defend his wife. He said that her bashers need to make sure of sending him a "video of you dancing at your restaurant opening."

He added that they're "going to keep Milly Rocking until that happens, you know what I'm saying?" Ayesha, an established cook, author, and restauranteur has just lately opened her fourth resto, International Smoke in Del Mar, California.

Critics out of the woodwork were relentless at throwing digs at the mother of three.

One user commented that "She killed something. Not sure if it was Milly."

While another one posted a racist remark saying that Ayesha is "really is a white woman."

Others launched their tirades via memes, and you can check some of the meanest ones down below.

Luckily other people came to her aid.

A user commented that "Ayesha Curry is so unproblematic... Why does she get such a hard time?"

While another one said that "People are so obsessed with their relationship, the jokes aren't even funny anymore."

A woman with a Twitter handle named Cherilyn further added that "Why!!! Can't this woman be happy." she went on to say that she has a spouse who loves her so much, he always has her back."

Today isn't the first time that Steph came to his wife's defense. In May, Ayesha's remarks on "Red Table Talk," drew some flak, and the NBA superstar praised her despite the apparent backlash.

On Facebook Watch series hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, Ayesha shared about how it makes her feel when other women fawn over Steph. She said that it had given her a bit of insecurity. "I don't want it," quipped Mrs. Curry, "but it'd be nice to know that, like, someone's looking."
