Steven Spielberg Warned About Daughter's New X-Rated Career, 'You Should Be Concerned'

Maitland Ward has some thoughts about Steven Spielberg's daughter, Mikaela, getting into the adult entertainment industry.

TMZ stopped Ward, a mainstream turned pornographic actress, on the street to ask a few questions about the news and she expressed support for Mikaela's decision saying, "I know. It's amazing!"

However, when the reporter revealed that the famous director is reportedly "concerned" for his daughter, Ward agreed and revealed a few reasons why his feelings are valid.

"In any industry, you should be concerned. In Hollywood, you should be concerned. You see all these cases coming out," she said likely making reference to the plethora of #MeToo-esque cases that have made headlines in recent years.

Ward added, "Especially if she's meeting people in person, that's really when you need to be concerned."

Mikaela opened up about her X-rated career choice in an interview with The U.S. Sun released on Feb. 19.

"I got really tired of not being able to capitalize on my body and frankly, I got really tired of being told to hate my body," the 23-year-old, who currently lives in Nashville admitted. "And I also just got tired of working day-to-day in a way that wasn't satisfying my soul."

When it comes to her parents, Mikaela acknowledged that her safety is always a concern for them but it doesn't appear that they'll have to worry about any concerns that Ward brought up, such as meeting people in real life, because she plans on being a one-woman show.

"I don't want to do anything outside of solo stuff is because I feel like it would be a violation of my boundaries and my relationship with my significant other," she explained.

Mikaela is currently engaged to 47-year-old professional dart player Chuck Pankow.
